  • What is the RBA?
    RBA, which is the acronym for Your Risk-based Assessor, is a customized application designed as a tool to underwrite commercial, consumer and microfinance credit loan applications.
  • Is RBA a standalone application?
    No. RBA is a web-based application that is installed on web hosting servers.
  • When installed, can I access RBA outside of the workplace?
    Yes. Since RBA is 100% web-based, with the necessary login credentials and the correct web address, one can access all of RBA's functionality from any remote locations.
  • Yes, RBA is web-based. Is this secure?
    Certainly. RBA takes into consideration that a secure environment is necessary especially as private client data is being utilized and stored. Therefore, with this in mind, RBA boasts not only 128-bit MD5 login encryption but also a Turbo 256-bit SSL certificate to ensure the most secure web environment.
  • How fast is the RBA loan process?
    RBA processes the loan application instantly. Once all the relevant information is entered into RBA, the result will be a detailed loan summary with the application interest rate and approval or denial notice.
  • Is the RBA a suitable loan underwriting tool for my institution?
    RBA is ideal for any lending institution – banks, finance houses, building societies, credit unions, savings and loans and so on. The platform is built on the core principles that govern prudent lending.
  • Does the RBA have capability for data warehousing?
    Yes. RBA boasts the ability to store past loan applications which can be easily retrieved. Additionally, a client can easily be linked to multiple loan applications whether past or present.
  • Can I testdrive RBA?

  • Installation/Customization

  • Can RBA be for installation?
    No. all RBA installation and configuration is handled by RBA's Support staff.
  • I currently have web hosting that meets the stated requirements. Can I use this for RBA?
    Currently, all client installations of RBA are housed on our state-of-the-art web servers. With this in mind, there is no need for any additional hosting costs as this is already included in pricing.
  • Is RBA customizable?
    Currently, RBA is customizable to incorporate the banking institution's name and logo. However, the current color scheme, font style or graphic image selection is not customizable.
  • Can we link the RBA to our existing software applications?
    Currently RBA cannot be connected to any other application. However, based on the requirements, a viable solution can discussed and developed.

  • What support services are provided with RBA?
    Our Support Staff are readily 24/7 for any assistance or issues that occur with RBA. Support is based on escalation levels of high, medium and low with high escalation support having a 1-2 hour turnaround time and low escalations having 12-24 hours of turnaround.
  • What support methods are available for RBA?
